Parent Teacher Association

“One of our most important aims is to continue to grow and nurture the great positive community spirit we have within the school and in our community.”

WE ARE A GROUP OF PARENTS, CAREGIVERS AND TEACHERS WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT OUR SCHOOL ENSURING OUR CHILDREN HAVE WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF THEIR DAYS AT ST JOSEPH'S SCHOOL.

Memories as simple as starting the school day to a Jump Jam DVD, grooving at the PTA disco, a special Year 8 Leaver's assembly or a simple ice block at a sporting event. The PTA also run the bi-annual School Gala as it's main fundraiser. The PTA at St Joseph's School is the fundraising and pastoral care group from the school community. Funds are raised by the community and made available to the school to cover the running of the school and general infrastructure projects that are not covered by government funding and also to benefit the school community through support of shows, school camps, IT equipment and other activities that create the school we are all proud to send our children to.

How Can You Help?

Our parents/caregivers band together and show their passion for our school and our children, so we encourage every parent, caregiver, grandparent, and any other adult that plays a significant role in a child's life to contribute where they can. It is your involvement that will help your children, our school, and school community, continue to thrive. If you are interested in becoming actively involved in helping to plan or assist where you can with any of our initiatives, please come to the next PTA meeting.  Everyone is always welcome and we are always looking for new fresh ideas. We’d love to see you, please contact Lillian Delaney on 021 136 2691 for more information!
